Cruise America Announces
GPS Giveaway at RV Sales Centers Nationwide
July 9, 2007
MESA, AZ--(Marketwire - July 9, 2007)
- RV enthusiasts could get more than their money's worth on their next motorhome purchase this summer. From now through
August 31, Cruise America is giving away a free Magellan RoadMate 2000 GPS unit to everyone who purchases a motorhome at any
of the company's nationwide RV sales locations.
Valued at $300, the Magellan RoadMate 2000 GPS is a pocket-sized,
lightweight unit offering built-in maps for all 48 contiguous states. Featuring touch-screen menus and nearly 1.3 million
indexed points of interest, it's designed to be an easy-to-use device for the frequent traveler.
"Whether
you're planning a late summer vacation, gearing up for fall hunting or getting ready for winter traveling, this free GPS
unit will make navigation a breeze," says Mike Smalley, vice president of operations for Cruise America. "And with
thousands of top-quality, completely refurbished used RVs for sale at our 13 nationwide sales locations, Cruise America has
the right motorhome for any need or budget."
Coming on the heels of the company's 35th anniversary and
the launch of its new Web site, this GPS giveaway represents Cruise America's renewed efforts to show vacationers the
full range of products and services it offers.
"Many people think of Cruise America as an RV rental company,
but we also have a longstanding reputation as a discount retailer of quality new and used RVs," Smalley says. "We
hope this giveaway helps our customers find their way while behind the wheel, as well as informs the public about the great
selection of Class C motorhomes available from Cruise America."
The Cruise America GPS giveaway is limited
to RV buyers who purchase and take possession of their motorhome between now and August 31, 2007. GPS units will be shipped
directly to buyers' homes. The promotion is available at all Cruise America sales centers in the U.S., including: Los
Angeles, Calif.; Inland Empire, Calif.; San Francisco, Calif.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Seattle, Wash.; Salt Lake
City, Utah; Denver, Colo.; Manassas, Va.; Anchorage, Alaska; and Orlando, Fla. The contest is not available at Canadian locations.

RV rentals at locations across the U.S. and Canada.
